Windows Live Essentials is preinstalled on this version of Windows. Windows Live SkyDrive is the new cloud storage place. With SkyDrive installed no matter what edition of Windows you are using, you can store your files in one central location and access your files from anywhere on any device. SkyDrive does not need to be installed or activated by default on a PC, it is already preinstalled alongside all editions of Windows 7 Ultimate and can be accessed from a browser or from a setup environment after setup has completed. Windows Live Mesh is a free application that will allow you to sync files and folders between computers and devices over the Internet. Mesh is only available to Microsoft Windows 7 users and can be accessed from a browser or from within Explorer after setup has completed. Mesh works by syncing everything contained in your Public folder. For example if you have a picture in your Public folder on your desktop of one computer, you can drag the picture onto your desktop of another computer and it will sync between the two endpoints.
